Blog #53: Concrete Plans for This Weekend’s Filming

Hey everyone, Adrian here! As we get closer to completing our two-minute opening film, we’ve been locking in our filming schedule. This weekend, we have solid plans for filming, but we’re also running into some scheduling challenges for another scene.

What’s Happening This Weekend?

So as you guys know, we were in talks about scrapping Sav’s house scene—well, we changed our minds and are actually making it happen! This scene is important because it gives more insight into Tati’s perspective, showing her talking about Adrian with her friends and how they see their differences. It sets up the idea that they might not be a perfect match—at least, at first.

What’s Getting Delayed?

As talked about in a previous blog, me and my crew members were considering refilming the after-school scene, but now we’re actually in talks about scrapping this scene entirely instead. Again, anything can change depending on how the rest of the production goes, but for now, our focus is getting the Sav’s house scene done first.

What’s Next?

Once we wrap this weekend’s shoot, we’ll look into the after-school scene a bit more and have a final decision soon. Besides that, we’re getting close to the finish line! All we would need left is the beach scenes and mall scene, and we want to make sure every scene comes out right. More updates soon!
