Hey everyone, Adrian here! We just wrapped up filming the Sav’s house scene, and while we stuck to the core idea, we made some changes to improve the flow and set up the next scene more naturally. Here’s a little teaser for whats to come in the blooper video!
Before vs. After – What Changed?
Originally, this scene was supposed to be a darkly lit movie night where Tati’s friends tease her about Adrian. Instead, we brightened up the scene, making it more conversational and adding a smoother transition into the next part of the story.
- Instead of a movie night, the girls are now in bed, talking casually while Tati drifts off into her thoughts about Adrian.
- Instead of Savannah snapping her fingers, we had Alina shaking Tati’s leg to snap her out of it.
- A new moment was added where Sav and Alina bring up going to the mall, which helps connect this scene to the upcoming mall sequence.
What’s Next?
Next up is the mall scene and the beach scene, which we’re planning to film this upcoming weekend—possibly on the 15th or 16th—to make the most out of our time and get closer to wrapping up production.
The mall scene is still set to take place at The Falls, while the beach scene location might change nothing is set in stone just yet. I’ll keep you updated on any changes as we finalize the details.
As talked about in the previous blog, we’re considering scrapping the lunch/school scene completely due to time constraints and the final submission date approaching. I’m aiming to wrap up filming and start editing in the last weeks of March so I can focus on completing the CCR during spring break.
