Hey everyone, Adrian here! After reviewing our school scene footage, we realized that some shots turned out too blurry due to the camera’s focus issues. To make sure everything looks as sharp and professional as possible, we’ve decided to refilm the scene using a different setup.
Switching to the iPhone 16 Pro & Final Cut Camera App
Instead of using the Sony ZV-1F, we’re going with the iPhone 16 Pro, which has an incredible camera, especially when paired with the Final Cut Camera App. This app was recommended to me by a good friend after I saw their 2-minute opening film, and I was seriously impressed by how clean and stable their footage looked.
Why This Change?
- Better Stabilization – The app helps keep shots steady, which is perfect for capturing natural movements.
- Improved Color & Focus – The blurriness issue should be completely fixed, and colors will pop more on screen.
- More Control – We’ll have better manual settings for adjusting exposure and sharpness.
What’s Next?
Now that we’ve decided to refilm the school scene, we’re figuring out the best date to make it happen (it could be tomorrow). We want to make sure everyone’s available and that we get it right this time. Other than that, we are still amazing to film at Sav’s house this Saturday. Stay tuned for updates on our official refilm date on the Lunch scene!
