Hey everyone, Adrian here! As we continue planning our memory-based romance film, we’ve been refining the costume choices to better reflect the evolution of our characters and their relationship. Our outfits will visually tell the story, showing our individual personalities in the flashbacks and how we slowly blend together once we’re in a relationship.
Present-Day Beach Scene Outfits
For the first scene at the beach, we’re going for a light, calm, and relaxed look to symbolize how far our characters have come in their journey. The overall theme is soft, beachy tones with a casual yet slightly formal feel.
- Adrian: I’ll be wearing a plain, calm hoodie (possibly with a car design) paired with straight blue jeans or loose straight-fit sweatpants—not too baggy, but not as tight as joggers. We’re also trying to get Birkenstocks to complete the look. One of the key details is my glasses, which will change from black (seen in the flashbacks) to clear glasses in the present, representing character growth and clarity.
- Tati: She will be wearing a cute beach dress with flip-flops or Birkenstocks to match the light, airy aesthetic. She will also switch from leopard-print glasses (from the past) to clear glasses in the present, showing the same transition in her character.
Flashback Memory-Based Outfits
In the memory-based sequences, our outfits will reflect how different we used to be before coming together.
- Adrian: My flashback look will feature a long white sleeve underneath a large band tee, oversized black baggy pants, and black glasses. This outfit is meant to represent a tomboy band-kid aesthetic—a stark contrast from my more polished and softer present-day look.
- Tati: She will wear a classy high school outfit with leopard-print glasses. We haven’t finalized all the details yet, but the goal is for her to look more refined and elegant, standing in contrast to my darker, more laid-back style.
